Joaquin Miller collection, 1857-1944 (bulk 1857-1933).

Collection assembled by Willard Samuel Morse; consists of manuscript material by Joaquin Miller (autograph poems, articles, letters, and inscribed photographs) and biographical materials on Miller (clippings of newspaper and magazine articles, book reviews, and notices of his works), and approx. 200 portraits; includes Morse's correspondence and typewritten notebooks concerning the collection.
